"I hope “Sheriff” will achieve big successes in European club tournaments one day"

On the first day of August, in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, at the main arena of sports complex “Sheriff” will be the first game of a double match fight for advancement to the next stage of the most prestigious European club tournament. Tiraspol’s “Sheriff“, welcomes multiple champions of Yugoslavia and Croatia, winners of the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup (later renamed to the UEFA Cup), “Dynamo” from Zagreb.
The match will begin at 20:00 in local time. It will be served by an English referee team, led by Lee Probert, who, on Aug. 13 will be celebrating a 40th year jubilee.
Tickets for the match can be purchased in the “Fanat” shops and “Sheriff” supermarkets represented by the company “Interdnestrcom” and at the sports complex box offices.
Ticket costs:
• VIP-sector – 80 rubles
• Sectors 2 and 3 – 40 rubles
• Sector 10 – 30 rubles
• Sectors 1, 4, 9 and 11 – 20 rubles
• Sectors 8 and 12 – 15 rubles
• Sectors 5, 6, 7, 13, 14 and 15 – 10 rubles
The winner of “Sheriff” (Tiraspol, Moldova) vs. “Dynamo” (Zagreb, Croatia) passes into the play-off round of the UEFA Champions League. The losing team passes into a play-off round of the UEFA Europa League. A reply meeting is planned for August 8th, at the stadium “Maksimir” in Zagreb, which can seat an audience of 39,000.
We remind you that during the European Campaign of 2010-2011, “Sheriff” (Tiraspol) has already met with this opponent at the same level of the tournament. 2 years ago, in the penalty results series, after two matches, which, ended with a score of 1-1, the victory was celebrated by Moldova’s champion.
