SC “Sheriff” swimming pool team at the Moldavian Swimming Cup
End of November, beginning of December is the traditional time for Moldovan Swimming Cup. This year, taking into account the epidemiological situation, it was decided to divide the tournament into two stages: first in Tiraspol, second in Chisinau.
On November 19-21 in Tiraspol SDYUSHOR swimming school the first stage of the Moldavian Swimming Cup was held.
In the competition participated swimmers of all age categories at the distances of 50, 100 and 200 meters in all styles of swimming, 200, 400, 800 and 1500 meters freestyle, 100, 200 and 400 meters combined swimming.
7 athletes from pool of SC “Sheriff”: Belaya Lina, Kirill Kushnerenko, Vadim Dzhabrailov, Vladimir Zhovmir, Eva Osadchaya, Boris Peronkov, Alexander Tregubov participated in the tournament under the guidance of coach Andrey Mytsikov.
Following the results of heats of the first stage of competition, three our swimmers claim for bronze medals of the Cup of Moldova:
- Tregubov Alexander swam 50 meters butterfly in 0:27.89 min,
- Vadim Dzhabrailov cleared the 100 meters medley in 1:06.69 min,
- Lina Belaya finished the 200m butterfly, showing the time 2:55.31 min.
The second stage of the tournament is scheduled in Chisinau on December 3-5, 2021, after which will be known the final medalists and winners of the Cup of Moldova swimming.
